Cogs

3 Feb

Sometimes it’s really hard to work in systems without losing yourself.

When you turn into a cog in a machine, it’s not as if anybody else really wants you to be a cog in a machine, it’s just that you fit so much better that way.

Your cogs intersecting with theirs, moving in a constant circle, measured, numbered, marked and tagged.

It’s easier than messy dreams and messy plans, and wants that don’t agree with themselves, and emotions that move from color to color.

Just turning in mathematic proportion, measured, simple, empty.
